You hear short authentic recordings — announcements, conversations, interviews, debates — once or twice, and answer multiple-choice questions that get harder as you go. Speed and gist come first; precise detail and implication separate the top bands.

Timing & strategy
- 1Read every question for a recording before it plays — you'll know exactly what to listen for.
- 2Never freeze on a hard item: the audio moves on, so commit to a best guess and refocus.
- 3Numbers, dates and negations (ne… pas, sans, jamais) are the classic traps — flag them as you hear them.
